Tom
Kennedy, Principal Tom Kennedy is an Associated Press award-winning
broadcaster, Certified Management Consultant (CMC) by the Institute of
Management Consultants (IMC) and teacher of strategic and crisis communication.
He has over 20 years of on-air media experience in major markets across the US
and over 15 years' strategic communications consulting experience with CEOs and
senior executives of international companies such as IBM, Iron Mountain,
Millipore, Roche, Bosch, Hewlett-Packard, MIT and others. Tom specializes in
helping his clients successfully develop and deliver focused, effective, and
memorable messages, internally and externally, including the effective use of
the Web, print, and broadcast media.
Prior to forming The Kennedy Group in 1992, Tom had
top-rated on-air TV and radio experience, as well as program management
experience, in five major markets in all regions of the US (Boston, San
Francisco, Detroit, Cincinnati, and Jacksonville). He thoroughly understands
regional communications strategies within the United States and has a broad
knowledge of worldwide strategic corporate communications and cross-cultural
protocols.
Tom is and a regular speaker at the Harvard School of
Public Health, to IMC and numerous other business groups, a member and former
board member of The Society of Professional Consultants, a professional member
of the National Speakers Association and a former adjunct professor in the
Communications Studies Department at Emerson College. |
